About This Journey
Discover Southern Ethiopia on a 14-day small-group journey from Addis Ababa to Jinka and the Omo Valley, then overland through Konso, Arba Minch, Hawassa and the Bale Mountains to Lake Langano. Sunday arrivals place the Jinka flight and Mursi visit on Monday and Alduba market on Tuesday, subject to confirmed flight times and local access. The route includes Dinsho, the Sanetti Plateau and Harenna Forest before a relaxed lakeside finish. Selected accommodation: Mazeki Boutique Hotel in Addis Ababa; Ethiopia Wilderness Lodge or EcoOmo Lodge in Jinka; Buska Lodge in Turmi; Kanta Lodge in Konso; Haile Resort in Arba Minch and Hawassa; simple Nurobe Hotel in Robe; Rosetta Marina Beach Resort at Langano. Thirteen nights are included, plus final-day use at Mazeki before your airport transfer. Hotels and services are confirmed in your written quotation. Scheduled departures become Guaranteed only once the minimum number of travellers has made a verified qualifying payment.

Arrive in the morning at Bole International Airport and meet your Monpays guide. Transfer to Mazeki Boutique Hotel to refresh before an introduction to the capital. Visit the National Museum to discover Lucy and Ethiopia’s archaeological heritage, followed by the Adwa Museum. Visits are paced around your arrival and museum opening hours. Enjoy a welcome dinner.

Monday · Fly to Jinka – Mursi & Mago Landscapes
Jinka / Mago
Transfer for the early flight from Addis Ababa to Jinka; the operating time is reconfirmed before ticketing. Meet the southern expedition team and, if the confirmed flight and local access allow, continue to Mago for a respectful visit with a Mursi community. Photography is arranged with consent and local guidance. Return to Jinka. The local sequence may be adjusted if the flight changes.

Drive from Jinka to Alduba for the Tuesday market. With your guide, observe regional trade and the meeting of local communities, respecting permission for photographs. Continue to Turmi and settle at Buska Lodge. The visit follows the operating market and local conditions.

An international flight after midnight departs on Sunday, Day 15: book the onward ticket accordingly.
